At Super Carwash Detailing Ltd. we have an extremely powerful drum vacuum that has 10 times the suction of any high-powered single outlet shop vacuum. Also, we use a cyclo-brush upholstery cleaning machine to assist with lifting dog hair for its removal. Our powerful equipment makes it possible to address whatever quantity of Dog Hair you have in your vehicle without having to add time or cost to your Complete Detail. You do not need to make any special arrangements when bringing your vehicle for Dog Hair Removal.
For those who have tried to remove Dog Hair with a vacuum from carpet or upholstery, the difficulty of removing Dog Hair is obvious. Dog Hair is more rigid than Human Hair, and it is able to burrow deep into fabrics, so deeply in fact that vacuum suction is not enough to pull the Dog Hair out. Brushing is needed to assist the suction in lifting the Dog Hair out of fabrics. Brushing and the direction of suction can also burrow Dog Hair deeper into the fabric. The burrowing effect of Dog Hair is the single greatest challenge when trying to completely remove Dog Hair.
The length and colour of the Dog Hair removed also presents challenges. If the Dog Hair is the same colour as the fabric it is extremely difficult to remove as the meticulous vacuuming and brushing needed are hard to manage if you can’t see the results. Long Dog Hair burrows more deeply into fabrics. Short Dog Hair needs lots of brushing up in order to be lifted by vacuum suction.
What to expect? How thorough will the Dog Hair Removal be? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to 100% completely remove your Dog Hair. We can however assure you that up to 99.5% will be removed. The main factor limiting our ability to 100% remove all Dog Hair is the burrowing of Dog Hair deep into the fabrics. Even when we are finished, and you can’t see any Dog Hair, Dog Hairs will work free and be exposed as the vehicle moves or occupants brush-up against the fabrics. The extent of Dog Hair Removal in our Complete Detail although not 100% is thorough enough that a stranger would be unable to tell that there had been Dog Hair in the vehicle.
Customers with pet allergies may be disappointed with the amount of pet dander removal. The chemical we use to shampoo cloth seats, head-liners, seat-belts, floor mats and carpets is a pet dander removal product. However, if you are booking a Complete Detail for the specific purpose of pet dander removal because of pet allergies, please be advised that historically customers with pet allergies have still reacted to pet dander in our completely detailed vehicles. Pet dander is the protein from dead skin cells and saliva and it can burrow beneath upholstery so that its complete removal is relatively impossible. The honest truth for customers with pet allergies and pet dander sensitivity is that the pet hair removal and cleaning of our Complete Detail cannot completely remove pet dander. Moreover, even if a customer has more invasive odor removal cleaning than our Complete Detail the results will still be poor. No amount of cleaning will satisfy customers with severe pet allergies, its best to consider getting rid of the vehicle.
An important note about dog hair in the headliner. If you have a dog who is large enough to rub up against the interior ceiling of the vehicle, you may require headliner cleaning. Our Complete Detail for $225 does not include cleaning the headliner (the material above your head inside the vehicle including sun-visors). Dog hair that is stuck into the headliner cannot be addressed without adding the additional headliner, sunvisor and seat-belt cleaning package for $29.95
